Role

The role of the departmental program and/or policy coordinators responsible for the implementation of section 41 in their respective areas is to :

• Ensure, as representatives for their components or policies, liaison with the Official Language Minority Communities across the country in collaboration with the regional coordinators;
• Establish relations with the other Departmental program and policy coordinators;
• Report to the National Coordinator on section 41 implementation activities;
• Participate in developing and coordinating the Action Plan and status report;
• Participate in consultations with official-language minority communities in order to identify community needs and take these into account in their activities.
