The Departmental Network of Coordinators 41 is one of the pillars of the implementation of Section 41 of the Official Languages Act within the Department of Justice Canada. Administered by the Justice in Official Languages Team, the Network is made up of regional coordinators and departmental program and policy coordinators.
The regional coordinators are lawyers in the Department of Justice Canada, part of whose duties is to see that Section 41 of the Official Languages Act is implemented in each region. They work in close collaboration with the Justice in Official Languages Team, which acts as national coordinator, and with the program operators and policy makers in the other departments in their respective regions.
As regional coordinators, they particularly participate in activities for raising awareness, inter-departmental networks in their regions, and events organized by community organizations with which they must establish and maintain close ties.

Departmental program and policy coordinators are in charge of coordinating the implementation of Section 41 of the Official Languages Act within their respective programs or initiatives. Their role as coordinators is, among other things, to ensure liaison with official language minority communities across Canada, in collaboration with the regional coordinators, and to establish ties with the other departmental program and policy coordinators.
